The checklist
- Filename: resume-firstname-lastname-date.pdf – no encoding issues.
- Size: under 2 MB per file, images compressed.
- Selectable text: text must highlight – no pure scans.
Securing readability
- Embed fonts: otherwise the recipient machine swaps them arbitrarily.
- Check contrast: black-and-white print must stay readable.
- Test send: mail yourself and open it on a phone.
